SuperPods🔗
SuperPods are groupings of PODs that connect to a Super Spine. SuperPods are used to manage multiple large fabrics in the same orchestration platform that have no direct communication (i.e., "air-gapped") between the fabrics.
SuperPod Wizard🔗
To create and configure SuperPods navigate to the SuperPod Wizard by clicking on the SuperPod Wizard button from Topology > Topology > Network View.
Target (form field)🔗
The Target form field is used to select a pre-existing SuperPod.
Add new SuperPod Button🔗
The Add new SuperPod button is used to create a new SuperPod.
SuperPod data columns🔗
Each SuperPod is displayed in the wizard as a data column with its name at the top. These columns list the Super Spines and PODs contained within each SuperPod. When an item is clicked, it is removed from the current SuperPod and assigned to the Target SuperPod.
How to Create and Configure SuperPods🔗
Create🔗
To create a SuperPod open the SuperPod wizard and click the Add New SuperPod button. When a new SuperPod is created, it will automatically be named, and you must manually set it as the Target to assign it Super Spines and Pods.
Assign🔗
To assign Pods and Super Spines to a SuperPod, you must first set the receiving SuperPod as the Target.
To move objects from within a SuperPod columns to the Target, you click them.
Rename🔗
When a new SuperPod is created, it is assigned a generic name by default. To change it to a custom name, go to Topology > Topology > Network View, click the Open for Edit button for the SuperPod you want to rename, and enter the new name. Then, click the save button
to apply your changes.
